Phonics and Literacy
Our classroom is a literacy-rich environment. Materials are labeled throughout the classroom to promote reading and print awareness. There are many opportunities for reading as a group, one-on-one with the teacher, and individually. Some of the language and literacy activities include daily journal writing, name tracing, story dictation, and discussion time during story reading.
