Teacher Bio

Learning Together Academy's owner and lead teacher is Ashley Taylor. Ashley holds a Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA), and has over 10 years experience working with young children. Ashley is a mother of three (with her youngest child in Elementary School and her oldest in College). Ashley's inspiration for becoming a teacher comes from a life-long exposure to young children. Her mother was a preschool teacher and it was only natural for her to gravitate towards working with preschoolers. She has always been very passionate about educating young minds. In her spare time she networks with other teachers sharing ideas and teaching strategies, attends early childhood conferences, and is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). She understands the importance of a quality early childhood education. Her mission as a teacher is to help one child at a time enjoy childhood, feel confident in themselves as an individual, and live up to their fullest potential. Ashley's greatest accomplishments are being a mother to three wonderful children, earning National Accreditation and a 5-Star Rating for her program, continuing her education, and having a positive impact in the lives of young children.

Substitute Teachers

All of our teachers and substitutes are approved by KDHE and have received thorough background checks through the KBI. Our teachers have CPR and First Aid Certification and attend on-going in-service trainings.
